– Antibiotic resistance has been all over the headlines this week, following the publication of the WHO’s first report on the issue. Covering 114 countries, the report highlights the growing threat of anti-microbial resistance to life-threatening diseases. You can read more about the report’s findings here.
– The German Development Institute/Deutsches Institut für Entwicklungspolitik (DIE) has called for a stronger global role of the EU, especially in its relations with the developing world.
