Close to the German Parliament

In order to be as close as possible to the political events in the capital, DSW has an office in Berlin. The advocacy team there is in direct contact with political decision-makers to keep global health, sexual and reproductive rights, gender equality and, last but not least, the fight against poverty on the agenda and to campaign for urgently needed investments in development cooperation.
A key instrument for this is the All Party Parliamentary Group for Population and Development, established by DSW in 2003. In this cross-party and cross-committee body, parliamentarians are comprehensively informed and contribute their knowledge to the debates and decision-making processes.
