Help as a company

Sustainability is an increasingly important issue for businesses. Today, companies that want to be socially responsible do so not only for the positive external impact. A corporate culture based on community principles also has an internal impact, improving the working atmosphere and strengthening the team. By donating to DSW, you are not only demonstrating your commitment to sustainable development, but you are also taking long-term responsibility and showing that solidarity is part of your corporate philosophy.

We are happy to advise you on the choice of project or help you find the fundraising campaign that best suits your company. Your donation is of course tax-deductible.

What’s in it for you?

With your support, DSW will come closer to its vision of enabling young people to lead self-determined, healthy and non-violent lives. At the same time, you know that you have contributed to something good.

Since 1991, we have been working like no other organisation in Germany to promote sustainable population development and to strengthen the sexual and reproductive rights and health of young people, especially young women and girls, in sub-Saharan Africa. You can also benefit from the positive reputation that we have built.

Our up-to-date and comprehensive press and public relations work supports you in communicating your social commitment. On request, we can provide you with stories and photos from our projects to help you communicate the positive impact of your involvement both inside and outside your company.

Our building blocks for professional collaboration are personal contact, short communication channels and clear and transparent information transfer. These cornerstones enable efficient and smooth cooperation.

We work with you to develop bespoke partnerships that meet your objectives.

We are not affiliated with any church or political organisation and have no ideological affiliations. DSW’s donors and partners come from all walks of life.

Working with us can help you increase sales, enhance your brand, motivate your employees, including those in international locations, and boost your employer marketing.

Concrete ways to support

There are no limits to how you can organise your social commitment: whether through an employee fundraising campaign, a donation of spare change or a charity product – you can support DSW’s projects with a one-off commitment or as part of a long-term cooperation.

We have suitable options for every company:

You can donate directly using our online form or by bank transfer to our donations account. Please feel free to contact us regarding a high-profile fundraising event.

You can organise your own fundraising campaign to encourage employees or customers to contribute to a common cause. We can set up your own online fundraising campaign on our website in no time at all. All you need is an idea of how you would like to raise funds.

If you ask employees what number is behind the decimal point on their payslip, the answer is probably just a shrug of the shoulders. Payroll giving takes advantage of this. Payroll giving is an easy way for employers to donate to a good cause: Employees allow the company to round their salary down to the full euro and collectively donate the cent amounts to a good cause. This has the greatest impact when combined with the so-called “matching fund”.

The “matching fund” is a popular trend from the US where a company announces an amount that it will donate if the same amount is raised through a fundraising campaign by employees or customers. Many people are motivated to donate by the prospect of having their donation doubled.

In many industries, it is customary to give gifts to business partners on special occasions. If you are looking for a special gift, why not invest your planned budget in a DSW project and empower young people? You will receive a personalised thank you letter from us, which you can personalise with your own greeting and gift.
